Born in Virginia but sharpened by the fast-paced auto scene of Brooklyn and Queens, Tyrone is the automotive expert behind Go Green. With decades of experience under his belt, he’s known for his problem-solving skills, precision, and passion for all things on wheels. In the early 2000s, he hosted the UPN television show Street Vision, where he and his crew brought classic cars back to life—one of his favorites, a Chrysler New Yorker, still sits at the shop as a proud reminder of that era. A lifelong Duke Blue Devils fan, Tyrone brings the same energy and focus to every car he works on. When he’s not at the shop, you can find him enjoying nature at Smith Mountain Lake—a fitting retreat for someone so committed to sustainable living.
Leslie is the heart and soul of Go Green Auto Care. Born in Connecticut, she’s been a committed vegetarian—and often fully vegan—for nearly 30 years, and her passion for sustainability started long before the shop. A talented chef, she even ran her own restaurant before partnering with her husband, Tyrone, to launch Go Green. Today, she manages the financial side of the business and is the driving force behind its eco-conscious mission. Leslie earned her bachelor’s degree from VCU and is now back at her alma mater pursuing her master’s in Environmental Studies, determined to use her education to drive meaningful change. Her return to school is deeply personal—after taking time off to care for her son Alexander following a life-changing sports injury, the two made a pact to go to college together. Whether it’s in the kitchen, the classroom, or the shop, Leslie brings passion, precision, and purpose to everything she does.
Donovan is the oldest of the Jarvis siblings and the definition of dedication. Born in Virginia, he works full-time as a General Foreman at Newport News Shipyard, yet still finds time to help out at the shop—doing oil changes, tune-ups, and working alongside his dad whenever he can. A devoted husband to his wife, Kansas, and father of three, Donovan also coaches his daughter’s soccer team and attends community college, showing his commitment to both personal growth and his family. A big gamer at heart, he loves winding down with a game of Call of Duty. He may not be there every day, but his strong work ethic and steady presence are felt in every corner of Go Green.
Alexander is the tech whiz behind the curtain. Born in Connecticut and a proud VCU graduate, he built this very website, installed the shop’s security camera system, and is the go-to guy for keeping things running—especially the printer, which seems to always need fixing. Currently earning his master’s in Environmental Filmmaking at American University, Alexander blends his love for storytelling and sustainability to spotlight real-world environmental challenges and inspire change. He’s also the founder of Kabarrii, a multimedia company that sells apparel and creates films and digital content focused on positive, meaningful messages. Inspired by Nintendo, Japanese art, and other cultural influences, Alexander brings a unique creative vision to everything he touches. His artistic eye and technical skills make him an essential part of Go Green’s past, present, and future.
